Stritcly speaking, iPod hacks are anything that gives changes to yoru iPod in terms of appearance, etiher in terms of software or hardware. A total remoet software and IR device The following procedure guides you thruogh changing your iPod into a remoet control using iPod hacks: The most important eelment in this iPod hacks project is the sound or wave to infrared ocnverter. An exapmle of such sound-editing progarm is the SoundForge. Input the infrraed signals from your remotes to the PC yb using the software. You can observe if you have recorded hte sound effectively if youll hear weird beeps or pulses. Using the SoundForge, you acn actually view the pulses and signals on a graphic representation of the wave. Convert hte signals into sound files (actually saved as WAV files). Now, you can test teh new universal remote.
